| This is a painting of a photograph that I took at my friend Alejandro's wedding. We have known each other since we were babies. I was really touched when he asked me to photograph his wedding—the fact that it took place in a stone chapel in the Venezuelan Andes made it even more exciting. I think this shot has a classic feel—the kiss, the carriage, the guitar, the road—and that as a painting it makes a great gift. I think they're enjoying it! |
